HOW HAVE I REACHED MY AUDIENCE?
GENRE
I think that the genre I chose was a good choice in terms of how far my reach goes. This is because I know many girls who are interested in films such as this however, it does limit our target audience to just females.
LOCATIONS
I think that we chose a great location for our film as London inhibits many girls of this age as well as these social groups/ I think that London is more liberal than other cities so I think that the message of our film would be easier understood.
CHARACTERS
I think that my characters are easy to relate to. I think that from the way they think or the social groups they belong to, my characters are a good way to reach an audience as they can relate to the characters.
RELEASE
Since our premiere was exclusive to students only, this made our audience relate more to the film as it is set in a college with students playing the main characters. This made the film successful as our target audience recognised our film as well as presenting the film as a good mainstream film.
FORMATS
Our film is going up on Vimeo which is a public video sharing site. This allows for easy access for our target audience as it is available on the internet. Our target audience often spends a lot of time on the internet which means that our film will be further reached to an audience from all over the world.
