APPEALING ASPECTS OF OUR FILM

TITLE CREDITS

I think that the title credits we used were very bold and were eye catching. They were placed near the corners of the sequence however, it was still incredibly noticeable. I think that the font suited our title sequence well because it embodied the 'teen' aspect of the film. In this way, I think that our title sequence was appealing.

MISE-EN-SCENE

Our film did not really focus on the mise-en-scene aspect as we needed little props in our film. Some of the props we used were the pink notebook for Lucy and the scarf for Astrid. The scarf allows for the audience to see the bully in our film when Astrid's scarf gets pulled off by the bully 'Daisie'. The pink notebook is used in order to emphasise Lucy's femininity.

LOCATION

The locations in which we filmed were, in my opinion, incredibly appealing as the establishing location shots were visually stunning. Especially, the location shot of Hampstead Heath at the beginning which was incredibly stunning. As well as this, the film being filmed in college makes it more relatable to the audience. The fact that it was filmed in college allows for teenagers alike to recognise it and relate to the characters in the film. Therefore making it appealing to the audience.

SOUND

The sound in the film is appealing as the background music is a popular song especially among teenage girls. The song makes it more appealing as well as the fact that it fills the empty sound during our film. This makes it seem less dull and more seamless as the clips changes according the key change in the song. This makes it more appealing.
